Family Resources

Help Me Grow Maine is a free service available to children up to eight years of age and their families.  HMGM connects families to information and services about child development and community resources.

Access Maine is a online resource guide to public programs, services, and other resources that are available to provide support families.

The Maine Child Care Affordability Program (CCAP) was signed into law on July 11, 2023. “Maine Child Care Affordability Program” replaces “Child Care Subsidy Program”. CCAP will replace CCSP. CCAP helps eligible families to pay for child care so parents can work, go to school, or participate in a job training program. CCAP is also available for eligible families where the adult(s) are retired and are the legal guardian of a child.

OCFS is the Office of Child and Family Services. The Maine DHHS Office of Child and Family Services is dedicated to helping create a future where all Maine children and families are safe, stable, happy, and healthy.
